Help me give my students and myself help with distance learning. It will allow students to see the demo of a skill and have the ability to see me as well as I instructed them.
I teach Intro to Animation and Art Design AB in a suburban neighborhood. My classes are populated by college-bound students who are engaged, career-minded, energetic, and creative. Students create culminating projects that require them to interact with clients and collaborate with group members similar to what they would experience if they were working for a professional design/animation firm.
My students are motivated and excited to learn and explore the different career pathways that are available in the Art and Media Career Pathway.
My Project
Sping semester, I was trying to do demos of a particular skill or an assignment for my students and I was recording them since I did not have the capabilities to do them live. This document camera will allow me to toggle between Zoom or Google Chat and still activity engage with students in real time.
Students will find it to be like they were looking at the projector in class but with much more clarity.
I believe it will be nice for them to see the "demo: of what is being displayed and have the ability to see me as well as I instruct them through the topic we are covering.
