I have a class of 24 high energy fifth graders! They love engaging, hands on activities that they can do in small groups or individually around the room. They come to school each day ready to learn and try new things.
They work hard, cheer each other on, and laugh together daily.
My students are full of life and they bring many different family and home backgrounds to the table. Many of my students live in the neighborhoods surrounding our building and they play together after school each day.
My Project
My students will enjoy reading on the lounge and learn couch by the window. They will read longer when they are more comfortable, and they will definitely be more comfortable on the couch!
The comfy seating can easily be moved around the room for various tasks.
The students can move the seating easily, so they can be comfortable in their chosen spot in the classroom. The surfaces of the seating are all easily wipeable, keeping them looking brand new year after year. These seating options will work in my classroom for this school year, and will be enjoyed by students in many years to come!
