Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am seeking funding to support the transformation of an ordinary classroom into an equitable and inclusive learning environment where students from all different backgrounds, cultures and abilities can feel safe and valued. The goal of this project is to foster equal opportunities for all students in the classroom regardless of their background and abilities.
I recognize the importance of promoting equity, inclusion, and engagement in the classroom, as these factors are what significantly contribute to students success and overall educational outcomes.
With your help I will be able to bring in flexible seating options, diverse literary texts, and educational posters that will all help in promoting student's success. These items will all help students feel valued, supported and empowered in their new learning environment.
With your help, this classroom will be transformed into a space that adheres to all students needs and accommodations and will serve as a space where diversity is welcome and protected.
