Help me give my students the best possible online learning experience with quality math resources from TPT. The Math4Media license will allow me to provide my students with common core standard based lessons digitally.
My students live in communities that are low income but high crime areas. As high school students a large number of them have adult responsibilities such as dropping off and picking up younger siblings from school, preparing meals and helping their siblings with homework. After taking care of their siblings then they have to find time to do their own school work. This is even more challenging since school has been closed due to the Corona virus, and my students are finding it difficult to work through the distractions in their homes that comes with distance learning. They have shown a great deal of perseverance during these times.
My Project
My students are at a critical point in their education and they want to be successful despite all the negative things that may surround them. For a lot of students in high school, math can be one of the toughest subjects. I need to provide my students with adequate examples and detailed modeling of problem solving to get a clear understanding of what I want them to learn. The resources from TPT and Math4Media will help me provide my students with a great learning experience and the support they need.
