My Students

I have twenty of the sweetest, loving and most compassionate five and six year-olds who are always eager to learn and become the best "Champions" they can be. 84% of students qualify for free or reduced breakfast and lunch, and 40% of my students are ELL (English Language Learners).

My Kindergartners learn best through hands-on activities and lessons when they are actively engaged in their learning in a warm ans inviting learning environment.

My students' favorite parts of their day are during our Guided Reading and Math segments. They enjoy being actively engaged in their learning as they rotate through their centers each day. They have the opportunity to work independently, with a buddy, or in a small group setting with the classroom teacher as they work on their writing, listening, reading and math skills. This is their time to shine and show off their growing independence and mastery of standards taught in the classroom.

My Project

I've always admired other teachers' classrooms and their amazing and endless activities, projects and eye-catching displays that were created using a Cricut. Now, it's time for me to begin exploring the endless opportunities I can have using a Cricut of my own. I want to create fun, hands-on and engaging activities for my students to make learning more fun for them in the classroom each and every day.

In addition, a personal goal of mine each school year is to make my classroom warm and inviting to students and families so that when they enter our classroom, they will feel welcome and know they are in a place where active engagement and hands-on learning takes place every day.

I want to have additional opportunities to create and provide hands-on and engaging activities for my students in the classroom. I want my students to look forward to coming to school each day. Giving them fun, hands-on, and engaging activities, lessons, and projects to meet their needs will encourage my students and take their learning to the next level. I want to provide them with a warm and inviting environment so they will feel comfortable and relaxed as they are learning. This type of environment will enable my students' learning to soar to new heights as they are actively engaged in their learning with their peers.
