Our 550 scholars, as we call them, come from all over Charleston County. They have made the choice to come to our school. Our school is one of the most diverse in our county. Around 50% of our population receives free or reduced-price lunch. Our scholars come ready and eager to learn with amazing ideas.
Our scholars come from a wide range of diverse backgrounds.
And they continue to push themselves to be the best they can be. They are our future generation.
My Project
The Nearpod licence will be used to create interactive lessons for scholars while our school is not able to be on campus and are in class at home. The ability to create interactive lessons for scholars to follow along with learning from home will help increase engagement for scholars and make learning from home more beneficial.
Virtual distance learning is not ideal for many of our scholars, but in these unprecedented times safety is important and we have to do everything we can to provide an engaging at home learning experience for our scholars.
