Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students will create a paper city using button batteries, copper tape, LED lights, and card stock. They will incorporate as many elements of energy efficiency and sustainability as possible. This design challenge will draw on their knowledge of circuitry, conservation of resources, and creativity. My students will present their green cities and invite feedback from classmates. Each group will then consider the input and evaluate where they might incorporate changes to their original design. Students will celebrate and snack on the Brownie Brittles during our final complete project presentation.
