My Project
My students are some of the sweetest people you would ever hope to meet. They are inquisitive, love to talk, and are always down to try new things.
There is shift during this point in the school year - a time when schedules change to accommodate testing, spring break is in the rear view, the weather is beautiful and we need an energy boost!
Here is where this project shines! We did a trial run and it has made a difference in the afternoon. Scholars return to class after recess and know that snack time is coming to help us finish the day strong. They have time to calm down from recess, chat with peers, and enjoy a snack before finishing instruction. These snacks will carry us through the end of the school year and keep our bodies energized so our minds thrive!
