it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These materials will allow my students to watch eggs hatch into chicks from beginning to end. These supplies will allow my students to explore the needs of animals in a hands-on project. They will learn about the life cycle of chickens, what conditions must be met for eggs to develop and hatch, and the basic needs that chicks need to survive after they hatch. The project will also teach my students responsibility and be a community-building experience.
When the chicks outgrow our classroom, they will be donated to a local farm.
This an unforgettable experience that students will never forget. These supplies will ensure that my current class and future classes also have access to this amazing opportunity. Hatching chicks will be an experience that my students learn a lot from and one they will never forget!
