An Effective Way of Learning

Help me give my students a new way of learning. We do a unit on frogs and we talk about the different stages of frogs. We let the students write a book on frogs at the end!

My Project

I would love to give my students a new way of learning with this project. We do a unit on frogs and talk about polliwogs. I would love to build some background knowledge on the changes of frogs in real life! Using the tadpoles and the houses, this would make it possible. The students get to do their own research on a frog that they choose and then create a book based off their research. We learn about the habitat and what makes frogs able to survive in their environment. We start this unit by writing a porquoi tale on why polliwogs (tadpoles wiggle) and then move on to the scientific part.
