My Project
I have a class of energetic, enthusiastic, and amazing students! Our school is a Title I school where most students come from low-income or poverty-stricken homes or may live in a motel. All of the students receive free lunch. Most are English Language Learners, while some have special needs. These students come to school eager to learn every day with big smiles on their faces, regardless of their circumstances.
Modeling is key in Kindergarten!
This can be done easily and effectively by using an easel. The easel will keep my students in close proximity and keep them engaged in the lesson that I am teaching.
We can read a big book using this easel and we can write a story together on chart paper. We can use also use magnetic manipulative to model math skills, on the easel. I will also be able to easily roll it around the room which will allow our class to share, work, and learn from each other!
