Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class consists of 21 wonderful and curious students who are learning to read and use technology. Due to the pandemic, this is the first year my students have been in a consistent classroom since 2020. My students have so much potential and are missing some key resources. They work super hard and they are eager and excited to learn. We are a Title I school and all of our students receive free meals throughout the day.
My Project
Small group instruction is critical in any classroom and happens at least once a day. A mobile easel would be so helpful so that my students can see a lesson directly in front of them while sitting at a table. This easel would be so helpful to draw thinking maps on, do math problems, and store my anchor charts. It would also allow me to be mobile with small groups and do small group instruction on the rug.
Small group instruction would be completely enhanced by this easel and very beneficial for my students.
