An Easel Can Expand Our Coordination and Motor Skills
My students need an easel to be able to answer questions of the day and to recreate and retell stories on the flannel board. They will also be able to to practice writing their name.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Many of the students I work with have limited resources both at home and at school. I work with special needs students who are 3 to 5 in a preschool for all learners day program. I have 10 children with a range of disabilities with both moderate and severe levels of need. My students come from a low income background and many of them have phased difficult situations. To a lot of them my classroom is a safety zone where they are safe, cared for, provided with a breakfast and lunch, and where they can be themselves and no one will judge them. Sometimes it is difficult to provide them with all they help they need because of lack of material.
My Project
My goal is to provide my students with all the resources I can. This easel is mobil and it will help us move it around the classroom and use it in the center circle, library area, writing area, and throughout the classroom and even outdoors. It will provide my students with the opportunity to share their ideas with the help of an adult and hopefully over time they will be able to independently approach the easel and identify their ideas.
This project will help my students identify and express their ideas.
It will help them become independent by allowing them to take initiative and express their ideas. With this easel I will be able to create lessons and projects. I will be able to create a daily chart for the question of the day. I will also be able to use the flannel board during read aloud, lesson retelling, etc.
