My Project

These translating ear buds will give our students who only speak a different language from us in the classroom more equity in their education. They won’t have to rely on a translator paying attention or even availability of a translator.

I’m hoping to provide an equal hearing and learning opportunity to those who don’t speak the same language as their teacher.

I want to start out by providing 10 pairs of these earbuds to our school. Sending 1 pair to at least 10 classrooms to get us started. I want to provide ease of communication between the student and the teacher.

My students are from a low income, hardworking community. They need and deserve the advantages they can get. This will help improve their understanding hearing instructions straight from the teacher rather than a peer who may or may not understand the instructions they are attempting to translate.
