This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our class has been fortunate enough to receive the necessary technology in order to access the many digital learning platforms that are mandated by the district. However, headphones were not included so we usually ask parents to send in a pair. More often than not, many parents do not purchase them so I usually end up paying for those who couldn't.
There is a consistent problem with keeping the headphone supply to last the entire year.
Most of the time, they are ruined before the school year is up. That is, of course expected because we are required to have daily use of them but it has become too expensive to buy and replenish them myself. All of my new students deserve to have all of the necessary supplies to be the confident learners they are expected to be.
