I teach a class of wonderful, kind, energetic and curious pre-k students. They love listening to a good story. I would like a listening center for my classroom so that my students can independently listen/read quality books. The listening center (CD player, headphones, books with CDs, storage center) would encourage students to work on many different reading and comprehension skills.
In our vibrant and engaging classroom, I strive to create an environment that fosters a long-lasting love of learning and empowers each of my students to reach their full potential.
A listening center would provide my students with opportunities to independently listen to stories on their own or to listen along to stories with their peers.
