This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach 3K and Pre-K students in my STREAM classroom. I have a listening center that does not get utilized due to lack of supplies for my students. The students lack interest due to not having enough books or CDs for that interest area.
Audiobooks will be a way for the students to have a fun, engaging and enriching experience to enhance their listening skills, build vocabulary, foster imagination, support reading development, increase comprehension, promote independence, etc.
Overall, audiobooks are a valuable tool to support literacy, language development, and a lifelong love of reading and storytelling.
In the school year 2025-2026, please help my students to find the love and interest by using audiobooks in my classroom daily.
