Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

It is hard to believe that in just a couple months the school year will be coming to an end. With that comes all the summer time fun! Every year I want to send my students home with materials that will give them a chance to unleash their creativity (while secretly keeping their academic minds engaged)!

This project will help me create summer art boxes for my kindergarten and 1st grade students.

Each box will contain everything they need to cut, paste, color and paint. I've also added some letter stickers and will add some fun worksheets that they can do to encourage them to stay academically active!

With your help, these students will have materials that will help them have a great, artsy summer!
