The majority of my students are from the Navajo reservation in To’Hajiilee, New Mexico. To have access to technology is very limited, yet a helpful tool for them in education. Their interests are so much into technology. Although most of them come from low-income families, they are always happy and content with what they have. I love their attitude toward learning and growth. I started this project with my students in mind on how they can greatly benefit from these materials. The MacBook Air laptop will be useful for me and my students. I can also use the laptop to access my google drive and pull out some lesson plans and record data assessments. There are a lot of ways that my students and I will greatly benefit from this project. I am requesting a MacBook Air laptop. Through this project, my students will be able to access some of the online platforms and activities that I am using in my class. This will boost their interest in learning and increases the engagement level of my students. It also plays an important role in our class discussions because we used to have collaborative work like making presentations and reporting. Through the use of a laptop, the students can do their work and enjoy our class every day.
