This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A year ago, the notion of distance learning for kindergarten would have been unbelievable. Kindergartens are social, visual, and hands-on. Yet, my students have risen to the challenge. They are showing up for Zoom meetings and completing their work on Seesaw. They are happy to see each other and happy to be learning together.

My Project

My students have been working hard despite these unprecedented circumstances. The iPad will enhance their learning as I am able to use apps that we use in the classroom and project these during our Zoom meetings. With the use of the iPad I can teach, model, and reinforce concepts that we are learning from home. In addition, I can also use the iPad as a document reader during our Zoom meetings. I will also use the iPad to stay connected to them through Seesaw and Flipgrid. These apps have facilitated our learning and having an iPad will enhance the experience.
