Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hi, I teach in a Title 1 school which means that supplies and tools of the trade can be hard to come by.
This iPad could give my students the opportunity to seek out and embrace information about different cultures and use it to create student drawings, and digital art that would be shared and displayed throughout the school during cultural and heritage events such as Black History Month, Cinco de Mayo, and Women’s History Month.
These creative works would be shared with the school community to promote awareness and appreciation of diverse cultures.
