This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I'm the ESE teacher in an inclusion classroom. The classroom is a combination of students with various exceptionalities, from learning disabled, autistic, cognitive impaired, ADHD and general education students. The majority of my students are from low socioeconomic families. This leaves them with fewer opportunities not only outside the classroom, but inside as well. With these obstacles, my students are hard working and always put forth maximum effort.
My students are all unique individual.
I love seeing them light up when they feel confidence in themselves, which allows them not to give up.
My Project
The IPads will allow my students to access various educational Apps to enhance their learning. My students have various disabilities that allows learning to be challenging at times. Using the IPad will keep students attentive and want to learn. This will in turn make learning more exciting and meaningful. My students will gain knowledge while having fun. The IPads will be used for Reading, Mathematics, and Science. Gizmos, Kahoots and Quizizz are examples of APPS that are used in the classroom to help students better understand and reinforce previous learned concepts. The IPads provide an exciting and a richer learning environment.
