My Project
Data is an important component when faced with the challenge of getting scholars to proficiency in English Language Arts. My students are tested frequently and we use data to strategize an individualized plan of action for each student to ensure successful learning outcomes. Due to the private nature of sharing data; having an iPad allows for full mobility. I can conference with scholars in the hall versus at my desk where students are still privy to information that should remain private. Additionally, an iPad allows for easier mobility when my students and I are displaced from my classroom for reasons outside of my control. Can you imagine being stuck at the desk because that's where your computer is? An iPad would release me to physically assist face-to-face. When students need assistance, I have to leave my desktop computer to go to where they are. An iPad would solve this irritating problem. I would not need to sit at the desk at all. It would allow me to give physical proximity anywhere in the school at any time without losing the engagement of students who are learning.
