Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

An iPad Pro would be a valuable asset for our classroom. One of its many uses would be connected to our Smartboard and used remotely throughout the room. What's written on the iPad will project onto the Smartboard as I am able to move about and assist as needed. This new piece of technology will allow me to walk around the room while writing, highlighting, and emphasizing key material from the palm of my hand.

A class iPad would bring new technology skills all accessible through an iPad Pro.

Students would be able to access iMovie to create and edit video presentations, I can teach without facing the board, and having my back to the students and exposure is key. Exposure is key to teaching, and unfortunately, apple products are few in our school. This project will give them an opportunity to learn about new apps for video editing, math fluency, coding, and placing a mobile whiteboard in our hands aiding in instant feedback.
