An Apple a Day.... Promotes Learning!

Help me give my students an Apple TV and an Apple Pencil so we can connect digitally. It will allow me as an instructor to stream content for the students, while they can likewise share their work digitally.

My Students

My students have been an amazing group to work with this fall during what has been a challenging year. Their enthusiasm for learning is contagious! This self-contained classroom is a combination grades fourth and fifth. As part of a very small school located in a rural region, the students PreK-12th share a bond that creates a culture of "family". Older students interact with the younger on a daily basis and opportunities for mentoring and leadership abound. The ranching and farming economy here has helped instill a strong work ethic and solid character traits that carry into the classroom.

We are looking to upgrade our technology in the classroom.

There are so many great resources on the internet, and we would like to be able to stream them digitally as well as share students' work that they have created on their iPads.

My Project

There are many great resources online and opportunities to learn collectively as a class digitally. As a small school, our funding is limited, so we welcome any support that we can find to acquire the necessary technology.

My students are looking forward to being able to connect lessons wirelessly and seamlessly from iPads through the Apple TV.

Using this tool, they will also be able to engage in interactive lessons which can be shared from their iPads.

We have been fortunate to be able to do our learning face-to-face this year. However, for safety reasons, we look for methods of sharing that provide limited physical contact, and digital technology provides that avenue. Having an Apple TV and Apple pencil will make it much easier to communicate through our devices.
