Help me give my students a classroom iPad for them to take turns doing research for their Descriptive Writing activities, as well as reading on Epic and working on their Reflex Math to strengthen their multiplication and division
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am an elementary school teacher for the past 10 years in New York City. My school is located in the South Bronx and is a Title 1 school. Resources for my students are very low. Majority of classroom materials are supplied by the teachers. I would love for my students to be able to use technology more in my classroom, as this has become the new way of learning. Many apps on the iPad will help close the gap of literacy and math. It is very challenging as COVID has greatly affected my students’ progress. I would love to have this iPad for our classroom!
