This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give the students in my classroom an iPad to help use online manipulatives. There are so many math engaging apps on iPads that students can use to grow their knowledge in math class. There are apps that have interactive manipulatives such as base ten blocks, clocks, and so much more! With this iPad, I can allow students to work at a center with a partner learn with the manipulatives. This allows students to see real life examples as well as a more hands-on experience in the classroom.
Not only can the iPad open a door of ways to learn, but it can also be used as a positive behavior reinforcement.
If student's have good behavior, they may earn extra time on the iPad. This iPad would be helpful to my students and I. I am excited to see all the good things that will happen when we add some more technology to our classroom!
