This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class is full of energetic children that are eager to learn. For many of them, it is their first time back at school after Covid and they are ready to learn the important skills that will lay the foundation of the rest of their education.
I would like to expand my technology learning center to provide more opportunities for my students to use tablets within my classroom.
Students will use tablets to access learning applications and programs. We will use them for activities such as BOOM CARDS, OSMO, etc. With an expanded technology learning center I could also use tablets for small group instruction. Tablets are ideal for this age group because it allows them to use applications and programs with ease. Touch screen devices allow students to use programs and applications that are not easily accessed through traditional computers. Touch screen devices solve the problem and allow even students with disabilities access to these learning opportunities.
