AMS Band – Back to Life! Saxophone!

Help me give my students this wonderful, durable saxophone that will give years and years of opportunities for our students to learn to love playing saxophone.

My Students

My school is fed by five elementary schools representing very diverse communities of San Francisco, from the ocean to the bay. I can't describe how excited I am to be teaching these wonderful kids! Driving this excitement is my primary goal of working together with each and every student and family to ensure they receive the best teaching and resources I can provide.

My Project

Nothing helps a student learn to love creating music more than a working with a quality instrument.

Currently, however, a large number of the band instruments have passed their serviceable lifespan.

While this year, our band numbers are down. I'm hoping we can quickly build it back up and I believe rejuvenating the instruments for students to play both at school and at home is a strong step in that direction.

I also believe that investing in well-respected brands is a much better long-term investment than buying cheaper instruments that will only hold up for a few years.
