My Project
An iPad with an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) app will give my students a voice. Many of my learners are nonverbal or have limited verbal abilities and struggle to express their needs, thoughts, and feelings. With access to AAC tools, they’ll be able to participate in classroom discussions, build relationships with peers, and gain confidence in their communication.
This technology will also support their academic growth.
Students will use the app during reading, writing, and social skills activities to express ideas, answer questions, and interact with their learning environment.
