Amplifying the Voice Of All with an Interactive Microphone System!
Help me give my students an interactive way to have their voice heard and work on their eye/hand coordination, joint attention and ability to communicate with adults and peers!
Our specialized preschool students amaze us each day as they work towards mastery of every goal we set for them. Recently, we have recognized that the majority of our students are offering verbal responses to our questions and group activities, but their voices are not always heard due to their low volume.
A colleague introduced me to the idea of a "Qball" that allows students to speak into the microphone within the soft "toss-able" ball and amplifies students voices across a microphone system, so that all voices can be heard!
Not only would the use of the qball allow each of our students' voices to be "heard" but it will also encourage other necessary skills at the same time...such as joint attention, gross and fine motor skills, listening, attention and focus.
Please help us provide this new (and highly motivating) amplification system for our specialized preschool students so that ALL of their voices can be heard!
