My Project

As a first-year teacher, I’ve quickly learned that every day in the classroom is a journey of discovery—not just for my students but for me as well. Over the past few months, I’ve been adapting, problem-solving, and growing alongside my second graders. Along the way, I’ve taken note of the tools and supplies that would truly make a difference in creating a more effective, engaging, and supportive learning environment for my students. While the list might seem like a mix of random items, each one is carefully chosen based on my experiences so far.

Here’s what your generosity would help us achieve: These are not just “nice-to-haves,” but resources that address real needs I’ve encountered in the classroom.

A classroom microphone will amplify student voices during discussions and presentations, building confidence and communication skills. A document camera will enhance visibility for all students, making lessons more interactive and accessible. Vibrant decor will foster a sense of belonging and community, while incentives for our behavior bank will motivate students to practice responsibility and teamwork.

My students are resilient, curious learners who inspire me every day. This project will give them the tools they need to feel heard, valued, and supported as they grow academically and socially. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels confident, connected, and excited to learn!
