This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our district has adopted a new science curriculum called Amplify. We explored it for the first time this year and noticed a need for more project-based opportunities to reach all learning styles. These supplies, including dry-erase markers, colored pencils, and markers will give the kids that opportunity. I try and accommodate all the different ways students express themselves and at this level, it's important to expose them to as many ways to show understanding as possible. I am amazed at how much pride students take when constructing even a simple project like a "One Pager" detailing their comprehension of complex concepts on one piece of paper.
