My students are frequently faced with challenges they can't control. My goal is to give them the very best I can every day and make their experience in my classroom positive and educational.
My students come a variety of backgrounds and home situations, but the thing they have in common is their love of making music and playing their instruments!
They come to school early and stay late to improve their skills. They work hard and inspire me every day.
My Project
Our old amplifier no longer works, and it is more expensive to repair it than it is to replace it. We need a new amplifier so our jazz band pianist will be able to be heard during performances. The pianist is a very important part of the ensemble.
A new keyboard amplifier is essential for our jazz band to have successful performances.
The amplifier will also be used every day during classes as part of my classroom technology cart. It will be hooked up to my computer and I will use to play recordings and videos for my students that will help them learn their music and become better musicians. They will be able to listen to professional recordings of musicians playing their instruments and also be able to listen to and analyze recording of themselves playing.
