My Project

This is my first year teaching an American Sign Language summer school course to middle schoolers. I want to focus not only on basic and essentials signs, but also teaching my students about Deaf culture. These curriculum materials and activities will immensely help me to be a more effective teacher. I have only taught ASL Club during the school year at the high school in which I work; this will be my first time teaching an actual course. I want to make it as fun, engaging, and relevant as possible.
