My Project

Thank you for taking the time to look at this project. It is my hope to bring interesting texts to my students. These texts will be used in courses that teach American Literature.

My students have vocalized that they enjoy reading works that are relevant to their lives and that engage them in lessons of diversity.

I believe that the Maus, Born a Crime, and They Called Us Enemy are three texts that will engage students. These books will be used alongside classic literature to emphasize themes found in American Literature.
