My Students

The amazing Pre-Kindergarten students at Sarah M Roach are working hard on learning letter names, letter sounds and learning their sight words! These basic reading skills will be fundamental to their growth in reading as they grow up. Their hardworking teacher and classroom paraprofessional, Ms. Young and Ms. Clark, provide high quality instruction every day. A dedicated group of tutors provides weekly small group intervention. Our students are making growth but we have found an area where we need your support!

The Pre-Kindergarten students of Sarah M Roach need Amazon Tablets so they can complete individualized intervention in basic reading skills.

Providing the students an opportunity to reinforce their learning of letter names, letter sounds and sight words using highly motivating technology will fill the missing piece in their instruction!

My Project

The Pre-Kindergarten students of Sarah M. Roach need five Amazon Tablets so they can complete individualized intervention in basic reading skills in a computer center in the classroom. Providing the students an opportunity to reinforce their learning of letter names, letter sounds and sight words using highly motivating technology will fill the missing piece in their instruction!

The five Amazon Tablets will be put into a computer center for students to use during small group and choice time to reinforce basic reading skills.

These tablets will allow for a multi-modal learning experience every day! This will set them up for future success in a 21st Century technology-driven world. The ability to reinforce their basic reading skills means they will enter Kindergarten with a solid literacy foundation that will support their academic and social emotional growth as they move throughout elementary school.
