Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have the privilege of teaching 24 precocious and energetic students. These students come from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, but that does not stop them from coming to school every day eager to learn.
My students love to come to school and see their works displayed front and center in the classroom and in the hallways.
I love to make my classroom vibrant and interesting to look at. This promotes an atmosphere in which children love coming to school and feel comfortable in.
I would love to give my students a wonderful home away from home in a nurturing environment.
My Project
With the Cricut vinyls, I will be able to make amazing designs that will inspire students. I can create areas to display their work. I will be able to make bulletin board letters and various designs more quickly and easily. The students can use the vinyls to produce special pictures for their personal projects. They can create lettering for their projects in order to make them look professional.
I am an avid believer that color and design and interesting visuals can capture student attention.
I want to make the room a magical comfort zone. I believe they will want to came back eager to learn each day and hopefully become lifelong learners.
