My Students

Our school houses over twelve hundred students in kindergarten through fifth grade. My class consists of students with very diverse educational needs. I have students who speak English as a Second Language and students who read anywhere from a kindergarten to a third-grade level.

My Project

This year will be like no other! Hopefully, most of our students return to in-person learning! My job this year as the intervention teacher is to reach those students who may need additional help catching up to their grade level.

Learning from home was a tedious feat for some!

Not all students had the resources or help to achieve academic success. Some barriers to their learning were: weak wifi connections, taking care of younger siblings, adults working, daycare limitations to assisting students, and language barriers. New material could have been troublesome for learners who need hands-on, differentiated instruction.

The resources I am requesting from Teacher Pay Teachers will allow me to reach both online and face-to-face learners. I will be able to upload and send the online learners quality learning resources. My goal is to have the children feel successful in their learning while moving them forward to mastering reading and writing concepts. They will also become mathematicians who demonstrate the skills needed to succeed in the future. The resources available on Teachers Pay Teachers will be extremely beneficial to all learners in my 2nd grade class.
