Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At our school we encourage and promote kindness, respect, and good behavior. These traits are essential since the moment students become part of the school community. To reward good behavior, we implement Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports into our day-to day-activities and classroom settings. Snacks and sensory items are also part of the rewards.
Students get excited to get rewarded based on a ticket earning system which allows them to cash their tickets for prizes and rewards.
The donations received will directly influence the entire school morale and good norms. All of our students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
