Amazing Readers Meet and Learn on an Inviting Carpet Space

Help me give my students an inviting reading meeting carpet and classroom mailboxes.

My Project

What makes my students special is the fact that we have such a variety of languages spoken by our students and families at my school. We have many students who are refugees and English Language Learners. My current students spent their Kindergarten year learning online, due to covid. Their first official full year of school was last year during first grade. They truly missed out on many social, emotional, and educational in-person lessons that are essential for building an educational foundation.

Having inviting and educational reading meeting carpets will motivate my students to join our reading meeting time with enthusiasm.

With a student library bookshelf and student mailboxes, my students will become passionate about choosing a book to read in class and use as a take-home class book.
