This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very dedicated to their music learning and growth in my Orchestra. If fact our numbers are getting so big that we don't fit just in my classroom anymore! The solution to this was getting an extra room in our school donated to be our practice room/student music library. In this room my students will have a space to practice and learn more music at an independent self guided level. My students work hard to hone their music making skills, and when given the right tools and environment, they soar! The products within this project will help create a organized, safe and engaging learning environment for them to enjoy their learning even more.

My students are special because they are exceptional human beings that not only are fun to teach, but teach ME too.

I learn so much from them and would love to be able to provide a space for their minds to get lost in the world of music making.
