Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials and supplies I am requesting for my students will help close academic gaps. Since COVID and interrupted learning, our students in 4th grade are reading below grade and are coming to school with greater social-emotional and academic needs. The color printer will be used to take pictures of their learning and provide color skill activities that will support in closing their reading gaps. The prizes will be used as incentives to reward their hard work. The human body anatomy will be used in combination with our curriculum and this will give them a better understanding of how our body works. These resources will help them have a deeper understanding of what is being taught and will be able to apply it to their everyday lives.
