A big part of second grade is learning how to read. My students really want to read chapter books at their own levels but our classroom library is minuscule. I would love to be able to put some good books in my children’s hands!
This complete classroom library will make it possible to put a book in the hand of every student during small group reading instruction.
These books will allow me to differentiated my reading instruction to better meet the needs of all students. Such chapter books will enable success for all children in reading fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary.
