Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come to school every day of the year ready to learn. Their minds are so busy that if I pause, they are elsewhere, trying to figure out something new. They have spent the last four months learning online with me and now we are in the classroom learning. Their parents bring them in every day trusting their students will learn. They are a very supportive parental group, though not always able to help financially.
My Project
My students would really enjoy having more books about artic animals and holidays. The students will use the books to learn more about animals in the classroom. They also will benefit from the two sight word games linked to the project. They will use the games in the classroom to practice sight words.They love learning and I love to have them learn through hands on learning and not just paper and pencil assignments. They are coming back to the classroom for the first time and would love to welcome them back with some fun ways to learn.
