My Project

As a former art docent and art teacher, I was able to access high-quality art materials for my lessons. My current fourth-grade class needs access to these types of materials. Help me supply my students with the supplies they need to experience world-class art opportunities without registering for a paid course. I would love to teach my class the art of suminagashi, Japanese paper marbling, which requires trays filled with water and ink. Special paper is dipped into the ink and squeegeed off to reveal intricate designs.

Liquid watercolors are much easier to work with and more vibrant than pan watercolors.

These watercolors are easier to mix and glide on the paper with ease. I can't wait to have my students dive into creating expressionist art.
