My Project
I’m raising funds to bring the magic of stop-motion animation to my middle school classroom! By securing small, easy-to-use animating cameras, my students, bright young girls at an all-girls school, will have the opportunity to create their own narratives, develop collaborative skills, and explore the exciting intersection of art and technology.
Stop-motion animation is more than just storytelling; it’s a hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) experience that encourages problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork.
Many young women don’t get early exposure to these fields, and I want to change that. With these tools, my students will design characters, build sets, and bring their ideas to life frame by frame, all while gaining confidence in technical and creative skills.
Your support will help provide the equipment needed to make this possible, fostering the next generation of female animators, engineers, and storytellers. Together, we can inspire these girls to see themselves in STEAM fields and empower them to tell their own stories, one frame at a time.
