Amazing Animal Antics!

Help me give my students awesome animal supplies to enrich our unit on animal classification!

My Project

Our reading curriculum contains a unit on animal classification. As part of this unit, students learn the characteristics of all the animal groups and how to classify animals based on their shared characteristics. This unit is always a big hit with students!

The resources in this project will help students elevate their understanding of the animal groups we read about in class!

The amazing array of resources in this project includes examples from every animal group, and these resources can be used in so many ways! As part of our culminating activity, students write an animal report. Their reports can be based on the animals represented on the bookmarks. The bookmarks and stickers can also be used to sort animals into different groups - what a wonderful way for students to use these resources collaboratively! We also have an animal-themed party at the end of the unit. Students will love putting together the building block sets during the party!
