Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

These are freshman biology, junior AP Environmental Science, and Senior AP biology college-bound students.

These students are in the Early College High School program and are on their way to earn an Associates Degree at the same time as their High School diploma!

My Project

These tools will supplement my school-issued laptop to allow me to provide fun and engaging lessons and demonstrations.

The webcam will be used as a document camera, mounted on the ring stand.

And the digital microscope will help me show students that science is all around us (as I show them up-close views of leaves, feathers, and other found objects).

The ring light will ensure my face is lighted appropriately for videos I make for my students or during web calls.

The monitor means I can have separate views of the web call and what I am sharing with the students.
