My Project

In the state of Mississippi you never know when you will be hit with a hurricane or tornado and in the area where I teach, most of the students do not have the necessary items to survive afterwards. I was in the 6th grade when Hurricane Katrina came and I remember returning to school and my teachers made sure we had plenty of snacks and drinks to welcome us back. That made us feel like everything was almost back to normal. I am requesting snacks, drinks, supplies and decoration for the classroom just to be prepared if I ever have to welcome my students back into the classroom from a natural disaster. You should always be prepared for anything.
